Mandy Zimmer frowned after hearing Alma John's righteous tone.

"I haven't even seen your brother, Alma."

"Can you just stop trying to get us together?"

Alma raised her jaw before scoffing coldly.

"My brother's an outstanding man! He's one of the eldest young master's most trusted subordinates!"

"Women in the city crave him!"

"I'm only giving you a chance because you're my good friend! I'm saving such an outstanding man just for you!"

"Nobody else can get this!"

Alma showed an arrogant expression.

"You better know what's good for you, Mandy!"

Mandy looked helpless before she leaned on her pillow with her hand on her forehead.

"Alright. Enough of this. I have things to deal with tomorrow. I'll head off for now."

Naturally, she had no intention of arguing with Alma about this.

"Well, goodnight!"

Alma showed a faint smile.

"That said, I already promised my brother, Mandy..." 

"I told him that you're still a virgin even though you've been with that filth of your ex-husband for three whole years!"

Mandy was silent briefly before quietly replying, "She's the lady of the John side family. We previously met a few times in Mordu. We got along pretty well."

"Alma doesn't think before she speaks sometimes. Don't take her words to heart, Harvey."

"I've never even met her brother."

Mandy did not know how to feel at that moment. She did not understand why she needed to explain herself to Harvey.

Harvey thought about the situation for a short while.

"Silas John isn't a good man, Mandy. You should be careful if you bump into him."

"If Alma brings you out, you should take me with you in case anything goes wrong."

Mandy felt a little unhappy after hearing Harvey's words.

It felt as if Harvey was trying his best to take control of Mandy.

"I didn't even ask you to explain yourself when you and Kairi Patel were being all lovey-dovey together," replied Mandy with a cold glare.

"What? Are you jealous after hearing that Alma's introducing her brother to me?"

"Do you want to take control of me? Is that it?"

"Let me tell you something. Before we get remarried, I'll see whoever I want."

Harvey chuckled bitterly after hearing the jealousy in Mandy's voice.

"I didn't mean that. I'm saying that you should just be careful of Silas."

"I've never even met him, yet you're already saying things like this about him?" Mandy showed an odd expression.

"Don't tell me that you were the one who ruined his engagement ceremony."

"You're saying that he came all the way back here and told her sister to pull the strings just to take revenge against you?"

"Are you really that bold to trample all over Silas and ruin his marriage?"

After hearing Mandy's doubts, Harvey bitterly chuckled before pinching his nose.
