The crowd froze; a split second later, they burst out laughing.

They glared disdainfully at Harvey, thinking he was just an idiot for saying something like that.

Hundreds of people stood with the Cobb family, while Katy was all alone.

"He dares to call us unworthy when he's all alone?

Everyone looked at Harvey as if they were looking at an idiot, a sane person wouldn't say something like that, after all.

The ladies of the Cobb family narrowed their eyes as they glared at Harvey. Right after that, they burst out laughing while shaking their heads.

It was the first time in their lives seeing someone this ignorant.

Katy froze and she looked at Harvey with a shocked expression, she didn't know what he meant at all.

Harvey only kept on smiling.

"Since nobody here has the right to bear the name Cobb, I'll let you build a family of your own here in Blackburn City,"

"Your family will be the only one under the name Cobb!"

Katy trembled, looking utterly confused.

"Elder Cobb would want this as well," Harvey added gently.

At that, Katy gritted her teeth in determination.

"Right! I'll do it!"

Soon after, a few inspectors showed up.

The Cobb family's butler entered, followed by armed inspectors. They stepped closer, and pulled out their firearms with a cold expression.

Grandma Cobb laughed coldly upon hearing Katy and Harvey's ridiculous conversation.

"Stop spouting nonsense! It's embarrassing!"

"The only family named Cobb?"

"You have no right to say that!"

"Katy! Since you're not going to cherish the chance I gave you..."

"I'll throw your man behind bars first! You can think about your actions after that!"

"We'll see if you'll oblige or not!"

"Do you think we're being soft for going easy on you?"

Grandma Cobb's face was fierce.

She believed Harvey was the main perpetrator responsible for coercing Katy to go against the entire family.

She was certain Katy would give up sooner or later if Harvey was in jail.

Eden placed his hand on his head when he saw the inspectors.

"That's right! I'm having a concussion right now because of this savage! He has to pay!"

Katy frowned when she saw the inspectors getting closer. Harvey would naturally be unable to fight back, since these people belonged to the government.
